Baseball Divisions

Baseball Divisions:

Tee Ball Baseball
Tee Ball Baseball is for players 4-8 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game are designed to accommodate the need for teaching. As a Non-Competitive Division, the primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball, to allow them to experience the value of teamwork and give them the opportunity to play baseball with their friends.

Double A (AA) Baseball
Double A Baseball is for players who are hitting from a coach pitched ball.  The players will continue to build on the fundamentals of hitting and fielding.

Triple A (AAA) Baseball
Triple A Baseball is for players who are continuing to develop their abilities in a competitive baseball environment.  As a Competitive Division, the primary goals of AAA Baseball are to create a fair and balanced competition throughout the division, work on individual skills development, and prepare the players for Majors Division play.

Majors Baseball
Majors Baseball is for players who are refining all the skills they have been building up in the Minor divisions.  As a Competitive Division, the primary goals of Majors Baseball are to create a fair and balanced competition throughout the division and work on individual skills development to prepare the players for much higher level of play.

Intermediate Division (13 year Old)
The Intermediate (50/70) Baseball Division which utilizes a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths is now being offered by Concord Little League.
This division, which was new division of Little League Baseball in 2013 and is for players transitioning between the standard Little League field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior/Senior field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance and 90-foot base paths). Majors division players 11 and 12 are eligible to play in regular season games as part of a player pool.

Many of the Junior League rules are used such as runners being permitted to lead off bases, runners may attempt to steal at any time, and allowing an on-deck batter.

The league will have a regular season of games normally two week night games either in Concord or visiting one of the other Towns intermediate teams. Home Games will be at our newly renovated diamond at memorial field. The Team will have weekly practice(s) day and times to be decided by the coach(es).

There will be an opportunity to enter a team into the State of NH little league tournament for those who would like to attend a tryout and that make the team.

Like the Majors Division, there is an opportunity to advance to regionals as State champion and beyond. The culmination of the International Tournament is the Intermediate (50/70) Baseball World Series, featuring teams from around the world. All expenses for the teams advancing to the World Series (travel, meals and housing) are paid by Little League International.

We are excited to offer this new division of baseball to players from the Towns of Concord, Penacook, Bow, Loudon, Hopkinton and Henniker.
